I did some research for a good headphone for myself until my friend told me about the “Bone Conduction Headphones”. I have never heard of this product before, so I decided to give a try.Safety is a big concern to me as I need to be aware of my surroundings while I’m biking. It’s good to hear cars approaching or something come from behind.The headphone is not inserted in the ears. If you get used to in-ear headphones, you'll be disappointed at first. However, if you push the ear plugs that they supply into your ears, and you'll hear that rich sound.With in-ear headphone, I need to stop my music or take off my headphone when my kids are talking to me while I’m listening to the music. Now, I can enjoy the music and answer all questions from my kids at the same time.It fits for my toddler kids as well, because it's not inserted to the ears, I think that it's safer for my kid's ear.Worth a try, if you have similar needs, I will say go try it!Very comfortableWould not recommend this item.If possible i would like to return it.I ordered these headphones because I don't like the insert type earphones. The battery holds up really well, they paired easily, sound great and are very comfortable. I really like them.I can only raise my left arm as high as my waist, so if I hold my phone to my ear, I can do nothing else. Regular headphones or earbuds obstruct my hearing at work, so I need bone conducting headphones. I thought these would be great because they have a type C USB interface. That is the only great thing. Fully charged they wont last half a day! And most of the messages are in chinese! I have a $35 pair that will last 2 days and the messages are in English, though heavily accented. And it does have the old micro USB connection. DON'T BUY!!!These are my first “bone conduction” headphones. I'm not sure what the intended effect is supposed to be, but for me the sound is horrible. It's like a cheap radio playing in another room – but with the clarity of it coming through the side of my face. It's weird and not at all ideal for listening to music.The only thing I can see these good for is maybe phone calls or for someone who really doesn't want to or can't put headphones/earbuds over/in their ears.I got these to use on very early morning walks where I like to have my wits about me. But I can't use them. And not just because they sound horrible, but because I can't wear a beanie snugly over my ears and back of my neck as these are in the way. You also can't lay back or use a head rest because these are in the way of that as well.A few more notes*) These exert pressure where the speakers make contact with the face. I don't find it very comfortable. And it'll be a probable source of headaches and/or vertigo for some people. Discomfort may even increase once you have the speakers vibrating against the side of your face.*) These are not discrete. These have a larger driver and higher power than typical earbuds – people around you are going to hear whatever you're listening to.*) If you want to approximate what these sound like, use a pair of cheap old over-ear headphones (the type you would have gotten with a no name Walkman knockoff from the 90s) and press the speakers to your cheeks, next to your ears. What you hear is hardly even an approximation, but rather the exact same thing.The best I can say about these bone conduction headphones is that they look and feel like a quality product. I had really high hopes for these when I opened the box and saw it was a seemingly well designed and manufactured product. Kudos, also, for them using a USB-C style charge connector. I'm so over micro USB.Very lightweight headphones. Comfortable and good sound quality. Good bass comes through. Wish they were adjustable around the back of head. Feel loose but do not move when moving and shaking head. Just would feel more secure if I could adjust the fit. Easy to pair with devices. Simple button to play and pause music. Same button to answer and end calls. Voice quality is clear both to caller and receiving calls. Comes with type c charging coward and earplugs. Not many directions for use enclosed but was simple to figure out to this technologically challenged person. Would have given this 5 stars if headband was adjustable.These headphones are fantastic for runners who want to hear what’s going on around them while listening to headphones. They stay in place very well, but the placement is key to your sound and comfort preference. You can wear these for a long time without experiencing any significant discomfort. They do go behind the head, so they can hit on headrests when sitting, but they can be worn comfortably with sunglasses and a baseball hat. They do not have any volume controls, but I would use my Apple Watch or iPhones volume controls. Overall, I have wanted a pair of bone conduction headphones for years and these far exceeded my expectations.
