I swim quite a bit, and after using these, they deserved a review. I've been looking for headphones that I could use for both swimming and running. After doing a lot of research, I settled on these because they offer both an MP3 (for underwater activities) and Bluetooth mode (for out-of-water activities). At first, the fit required a bit of adjustment, particularly with my goggles and cap. Once I found the right configuration, the headphones fit securely on my head. I found them to fit comfortably enough, and for long swims (1.5 to 2 hrs), I didn't have any ear pain. I included some photos. It is a little annoying that you have to download all your songs. This takes time, but Bluetooth doesn't work underwater, so MP3 is really the only way to go. I figured out how to download songs/podcast from Spotify. You can download it by using spotifydown.com. I figure there is a version of this for all streaming services.I'm happy with the underwater sound quality. The lower frequencies can struggle a bit, but again, while I was doing research, lower frequencies struggle underwater anyway. I usually listen to podcasts when I swim, and I've been really happy with the clarity of what I can hear. The buttons on these headphones are pretty easy to use, and once you get used to them, I can easily adjust the volume and rotate between songs in the middle of a swim. The battery life has been great. I've been using them on multiple workouts before recharging. A typical workout for me is around 45 minutes to an hour.I considered another device that runs by broadcasting an FM radio frequency, but that setup is more complicated. It requires you to set up a station by your lap lane so you can transmit the FM frequency, as well as wear a larger, bulkier set of bone-conduction headphones. It is also more than twice as expensive. I liked the simplicity of this setup way more.I've also loved using these on runs. I like having headphones where I can hear what's going on around me. You can easily switch between MP3 and Bluetooth (for out-of-water activities) modes, and I didn't have any trouble connecting them to my phone.
