I really like my Ring doorbell, especially now that people know I have it; they have been leaving me alone. I live in a lower income apartment building and used to be plagued by people trying my door at night when I was here alone. That was scary and that has completely stopped because they realize that they can be seen now. However, because there is so much hallway traffic, my battery only lasts about a week or two, but it does charge right back up in several hours.I like the fact that it has sound and microphone, but it takes way too long for me to locate my phone, find the Ring app and then wait for it to open up the video from the camera. I put a note on my door saying to give me at least a minute for me to answer the doorbell when they ring. That's a real pain, but most people understand and are cooperative.
